Choose a preset for your system. You can change this anytime from the pause menu (P).

How to play
Move & look — Use W A S D to move relative to the camera. Move the mouse to look around; click the game to capture the cursor (standard FPS control).
Stamina & movement — Hold Shift to sprint (uses stamina). Press Space to jump.
Combat — Left click is a light melee attack. Release Right click at the right time to parry.
Command map & orders — Press M to open the tactical map (move orders, read the field). Press Esc to close the map, cancel building, or back out of menus. Tab cycles squads; F1–F4 open the order menus (labels also appear on the HUD).
Buildings — Press B for the build menu. While placing a structure, Q and E rotate it, [ ] cycle types, and Left click confirms a valid site.
Camera — With default settings, hold middle mouse (or V if you use toggled “command view” in options) for a top-down tactical view; release to return to direct control.
Attack styles — 2 and 4 switch which sword swing Left click performs.
